Natural Menopause Treatment

Clary Sage (Salvea Sclerea) - An especially inviting, softly floral and sweet oil! Clary Sage can have a deeply soothing effect on nervous tension in both men and women.

Clary Sage is well known for having a natural affinity with the female reproductive organs and is especially helpful for release of premenstrual and menopausal tension in women.

Clary Sage has a balancing effect on hormones and a reputation for easing painful contractions during labor and birth.

Traditionally it has been added to Geranium to help regulate and relieve female complaints associated with hormonal imbalance, such as irregular menses and menopausal symptoms, including headache, nausea, tearfulness, moodiness, bloating, indigestion and depression.

Clary Sage also has a balancing effect upon circulation and aids circulatory problems like high blood pressure and varicose veins.

For some people Clary Sage has an especially hypnotic effect on the mind and emotions producing exceedingly tranquil and peaceful states. It is especially helpful for relieving stressful or tense physical and emotional states of mind.

AROMATIC BLENDS: Geranium, Petitgrain, Lavender, Bergamot, Atlas and Himalayan Cedarwood, Chamomile, Frankincense, Sandalwood and Vetiver.

CAUTION: As Clary Sage can make some people feel exceedingly woozy and faint please avoid using it with alcohol, or when driving, or needing to focus. Because of its hormonal effect avoid during pregnancy, or when nursing. Due to its estrogen-like effect it may cause complications with conditions sensitive to estrogen.

Please note: There are many cheap chemical copies of essential oils available, but these are not recommended for therapeutic use. For best results always use ethically wild crafted or pure, organic essential oils that are pesticide free!

Aromatherapy is a gentle and noninvasive complementary and alternative health care system used for balancing and synchronizing your body, mind and spirit to enhance your health. Please consult with your physician regarding your health concerns.
